JEH Custom Homes is John E. House's company. He started it in Pensacola in 2018 and still runs every job himself. Homeowners say he's often the first one on site, sometimes before the sun is up, and that he walks first-time builders through every step.

Good questions to ask a builder.
Do you build on my land?
Yes. If you already own a lot, JEH can build on it. We'll look at the property with you and help you choose a plan that fits the lot and your budget.
Do you help with house plans?
Yes. Bring your own plans, or start from one of JEH's floor plans and customize the layout and finishes until it feels like yours.
How long does a custom home take?
It depends on the size of the home, permitting and the finishes you choose. You'll get a schedule up front and a weekly update on what's being done, so you always know where things stand.
How does financing a custom home work?
Most custom homes are paid for with a construction loan that converts to a regular mortgage when the home is finished. We're happy to talk through the process and work with your lender.
Can you add a pool or outdoor kitchen?
Yes. JEH builds pools, tiki bars, pool houses, outdoor kitchens and home expansions, either as part of a new home or for a home you already own.
